Miles Davis, the king of jazz, finally unveils his treasured album "Rubberband," which was recorded in 1985 but has never been released to the public! The entirety of the work that all music fans have been waiting for will now be revealed after 35 years! In 1985, Miles Davis left Columbia Records, where he had worked for 30 years, and signed a new contract with Warner Records, shocking the world. In October of that year, Miles began recording the album "Rubberband" with producers Randy Hall and Zane Giles at Ameraycan Studios in Los Angeles. Miles was also planning to invite guest vocalists such as Al Jarreau and Chaka Khan.However, the album never saw the light of day, and Miles recorded a new album, the now historic masterpiece "TuTu," as his first release with the new company. As a result, "Rubber Band" remained unheard and untouched for over 30 years. The "Rubberband" soundtrack, which had been passed down to fans as a phantom work, was officially released on Record Store Day 2018 in the form of a four-song EP, the RUBBERBAND EP, allowing Miles fans to enjoy a bit of this long-lost sound left behind by the iconic trumpeter. sound for a little while longer.Now, the album "Rubberband," consisting of 11 songs, will be officially released on September 6 on CD and 180-gram vinyl, and the full story of this veiled work will finally be revealed..! The finalization of this work was done by Randy Hall and Zane Giles, who were the producers of the original sessions, as well as Miles' nephew, Vince Wilburn, Jr. The jacket cover features a layout of paintings that Miles had done at the time.
