More than half a century after Queen began their rise to superstardom, their iconic second album, *Queen II*, has been remixed and remastered and is now being released as a deluxe expanded box set. Widely acclaimed as their true masterpiece, *Queen II*—arguably the heaviest album in Queen’s history—was originally released in 1974. With Brian May and Roger Taylor serving as executive producers, a team led by Justin Shirley-Smith, Joshua J. Macrae, and Kris Fredriksson has crafted a magnificent remix. The 5CD+2LP *Queen II Collector’s Edition* box set includes the 2026 remixes, as well as immersive audio capturing Queen’s raw energy in the recording studio, previously unreleased outtakes and demos, live tracks, and radio sessions. It also includes a 112-page book. In addition to previously unpublished photos, handwritten lyrics, diaries, and images of special historical memorabilia, the book features the band members’ memoirs on the production of this album, including songwriting and recording.
