Raoul Kocharski's Chamber Music Collection! This is a collection of recordings by Raoul Kocharski, a passionate pianist who has made many world premiere recordings for the Acte Prealable label in Poland, and has become one of the label's signature series. Kocharski's piano skills were highly praised by Anton Rubinshtein from an early age, and his performance of Chopin was especially appreciated as he studied under Karol Mikli, the last pupil of Chopin. As a composer, he was greatly influenced by Liszt's pupil Ludwik Marek. Kocharski's chamber music collection concludes with three violin sonatas. The last work in the collection is Kocharski's three violin sonatas: No. 2, in the classical three-movement form; No. 3, composed in his most glamorous period, when he composed many songs and piano pieces; and No. 4, completed in 1942 after five years of work, which shows the maturity of his art.
