Hyperdub presents the debut album by Moor Mother and DJ Haram's unit 700 Bliss! 700 Bliss, an electronic music duo consisting of DJ Haram, a radio show curator, producer, DJ, and writer, and Moor Mother, a member of Black Quantum Futurism, have released their debut album "Nothing To Declare" on Hyperdub! The two began collaborating in 2014 and eventually formed 700 Bliss as a live project in the Philadelphia DIY scene, and have since gained a growing global following. Since then, they have been gaining followers around the world. The album features guest appearances by Muqata'a from Palestine, US-based Ase Manual, who has Yoruba roots, Lawfandah, known for his releases on Warp and collaborations with Midori Takada, and Philadelphia singer/songwriter Orion Sun, a singer-songwriter from Philadelphia.It is a cross-border electronic rap piece that blends the edginess of club music and hip-hop, the energy of punk, jazz, and the catharsis of a house party, and even noise with a percussion-heavy sound.
