Since their debut, Brighton rock duo Royal Blood have been uniquely focused on pushing the boundaries of rock. The vocals are a mix of ferocious riffs, rock roars and soulful falsetto, and the groove is created by a roaring beat and tight rhythms. They have returned to the scene with their first studio album in two years, since their last album "Typhoons", which caused a storm. Royal Blood consists of Mike Kerr (vocals, bass) and Ben Thatcher (drums), who have a passion for writing and playing music. Formed in 2013 by two lifelong friends, the rock duo went from wondering how they were going to make back the measly £300 they spent on their first recording to not only topping the UK album charts, but also taking Glastonbury by storm. and even won the BRIT Award for Best British Group.With all three studio albums they have released so far reaching #1 in the UK, they have maintained their independence and uniqueness since their inception, but at the heart of it all is a strong friendship and intuitive musicianship. Dedicated to making their own music without the help of big name songwriters, the two Royal Blood members have found success through hard work, exceptional songwriting, intense live performances, and a little luck.
