Description:
Following STUDIO ONE ROOTS and STUDIO ONE SOUL, this is the third compilation of the SOUL JAZZ RECORDS, who have been introducing the other side of this label other than Ska/Rocksteady. Almost all the tracks are 7" only and not included on the album. Moreover, many of them have not been reissued yet and are very worth listening to. Especially valuable are JAH SCOTCHIE, JAH BUZZ, and JAH JESCO, who left only one, three, and two songs on STUDIO ONE, respectively. The hot toasting by DEEJAY and others is great, but the versions using famous tracks from STUDIO ONE such as ROCK FORT SHOCK and SATTAMASAGANA are also excellent. This is an album that even dub listeners should listen to carefully.
