Echo & The Bunnymen

Echo & The Bunnymen were an important act in the UK New Wave scene during the post-punk upheaval, and were a defining presence as the standard-bearers of neo-psychedelia. Their original album, which has attracted many fans with its shaded and aesthetic sound, is now available in a new soft-pack CD edition! This is the third album "PORCUPINE" released in 1983, which is the masterpiece of the Bunnymen, full of tension and speed, and a masterpiece that will remain in the history of rock music with its unique aesthetic and world view. Echo & The Bunnymen were born in Liverpool, England in 1978, made their debut in 1980, and since then have continued to lead the scene as the standard-bearers of "neo-psychedelia," and are an important act that symbolizes the British scene of the 1980s. The sound created by the band, consisting of Ian McCulloch, Will Sergeant, Les Pattinson, and Pete de Freitas, had a huge impact on the scene afterwards, and has been so influential that it has created numerous followers. The band is a rock band that exudes a unique post-punk and new wave presence. Echo & The Bunnymen's albums, which have long been difficult to find overseas, are now being re-released on CD in a new soft-pack packaging. This release will include their debut album "CROCODILES" (1980), second album "HEAVEN UP HERE" (1981), third album "PORCUPINE" (1983), fourth album "OCEAN RAIN" (1984), and fifth and first album "ECHO" (1987). ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN", the fifth and virtually final album of the first Echo & the Bunnymen, and "SONGS TO LEARN & SING", the band's first best album, released in 1985. ★★★★"PORCUPINE" (1983) ★★★★ PORCUPINE", the third album released in 1983, was co-produced by Ian Bourdie (Kingbird) in 1983. He also produced the songs "Rescue" and "Pride" on their debut album "CROCODILES". The album reached #2 on the UK Albums Chart and was also a chart hit worldwide, earning the band a gold disc in the UK. Songs such as "Back of Love" and "The Cutter," the band's first UK single hits, were cut as singles from the album.
