As Guns N' Roses came to a halt, Slash left the band and sought to form a new band. In 2004, he formed Velvet Revolver with Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum, who had also left the band, Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots, and Dave Kushner of the Dave Navarro Band. The band's debut album debuted at No. 1 in the U.S. and went on to become a double platinum disc hit. The band embarked on a world tour and began work on a new album, which was followed in 2007 by the release of their second album, "Libertad," which debuted at No. 5 on the U.S. album chart. The band embarked on a world tour entitled "Re-Evolution Tour", playing 81 shows in total. The second day, June 3, will be recorded and broadcast for German TV/radio programs.This is a live album using this recording and includes the complete concert including cover songs and encores. Unlike the sound of Guns N' Roses or Thrash's Snake Pit, the more straightforward and simple hard rock sound of this new generation super band is truly amazing. This live album is a very rare product, as no live album has ever been released!
