Formed in 1973 by Andy Partridge, Colin Moulding, Terry Chambers, and Barry Andrews, XTC signed with Virgin Records in 1977, and became popular for their unique pop style in the New Wave movement of the time. In 1979, Dave Gregory joined the band following the departure of Barry Andrews, and Terry Chambers left in 1982. Now XTC's rare live archive of their different sound styles is finally being released on CD! XTC's album "English Settlement" was released in February 1982 and reached the No.5 position in the UK album chart and sold as well as its predecessor in the US.However, tired of the hard schedule of touring, the band cancelled the tour that accompanied the release of this new album, resulting in only 11 promotional concerts in the U.S. & Europe (and no concerts since...). ). (They have not played any more concerts since then...) Among these limited tours, the concert in Belgium on March 7 of the same year was recorded and broadcast as a special program on a local radio station to promote the album. This album is a live album recorded during the broadcast, and the set list of the day is mainly songs from the new album "English Settlement". The band's performance shows not only the high quality of XTC's musicality, but also their greatness as a live band. This live album, which captures the band's final tour as a band, is a long-awaited release for their fans!
