A super band formed by Keith Emerson (ex-The Nice), Greg Lake (ex-King Crimson), and Carl Palmer (ex-Atomic Rooster), Emerson, Lake & Palmer were a keyboard trio that pursued progressive rock and became a worldwide success in the 1970's. The band's sound was based on the concept of a "progressive rock trio", and the band's sound was influenced by the music of the time. The band pursued progressive rock and achieved worldwide success in the 1970s. In the 1990s, however, the band reunited and resumed full-fledged activities, and now a live archive of the band is available! The band toured North and South America to promote the release of the 4-CD box set "The Return Of The Manticore" in 1993. The band's first visit to South America was enthusiastically received. The April 1 concert in Santiago, Chile was recorded for broadcast in South American countries. This album is an album release using the sound recordings from the broadcast, and includes the encores and the complete concert.The set list is different from that of the previous year's world tour, with a few representative songs replaced. The performance, however, was of a high level of perfection unique to this band, and the complete concert has never been officially released, making this release a rare find!
