Robin Trower has been so successful as a solo guitarist that he no longer needs the title "ex-Procole Harum," and his guitar playing, which has even been called "the second coming of Jimi Hendrix," is still highly regarded today. After leaving Procol Harum and starting his career as a solo artist, his second album "Bridge of Sighs" (1974) was a huge hit in the U.S., and he quickly became a top guitarist. In 1977, Robin Trower released his fifth album "Robin Trower Live! In 1977, Robin Trower released his 5th album "In City Dreams", which was followed by a live concert in New Haven, Connecticut on October 18 of the same year during his North American tour. The concert was recorded for the popular American radio program "King Biscuit Flower Hour" and has been broadcast only until now, but this time the original recording has been remastered for release. The set list of the day was 12 songs including encores, so this is a complete recording of the concert.The set list, which includes songs from the new album as well as representative songs from previous albums, is a "best of" of this point in time, and is a wonderful way to experience Robin Trower's charm as a guitarist!
