Description:
The hottest guitarist in the Japanese jazz scene. His second album was recorded in New York and Tokyo with the participation of a wide variety of musicians. Taka Nawashiro is an up-and-coming guitarist who has been active in New York since graduating from The New School University, and since returning to Japan has participated in many projects with Benina Ishikawa, Shun Ishiwaka, and others. The album was recorded in New York with two different bands and then overdubbed in Tokyo with Shun Ishiwaka, Tomoaki Baba, and others. Each song has its own color, and the entire album is dramatic, evoking a variety of stories. Two vocal tracks by Bena Ishikawa and Ruri Matsumura are also included.
