To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Queen's formation, the long-unavailable "Limited Editions" of all 15 original albums will be reissued only in Japan! Princess of Fear" (original release year: 1973): This is the debut album, which followed the trend of British Hard Rock style at that time and expressed the individuality that was already unique to Queen at this point. Produced by Roy Thomas Baker, who would later become a key player in the Queen sound, in addition to John Anthony and the band themselves." The declaration that "no one plays a synthesizer" is clearly stated on this album. The band began recording demos as soon as the band members were settled, then began recording in earnest in the summer of 1972, completing the album in January 1973. The album was released about six months later, and was credited with being "the culmination of the last three years of Queen music.The bonus EP includes five rare demos recorded at De Lane Lee Studios in December 1971 and an outtake, "Mad the Swine," discovered in 1991.
