Description:
The time is the end of the Edo period. There were young people who gathered in the city of Kyoto in the midst of the upheaval. They are the Mibu Roushigumi, or "Miburo. Later to become the "Shinsengumi," they put their lives on the line to protect the peace of the city. When a kind-hearted boy named "Nio" joins them, the Mibro become closer through their battles. Nio's words are the first step toward protecting Kyo, "We must first leave our comfortable lives behind and move forward anew." Nio's words lead Mibro to recruit new members and expand its organization. However, the presence of Serizawa Kamo, the first bureau chief, is about to cause a rift within the corps.
