Description:

After a successful 2-man show in the summer of 2024 with their close allies, the Humbleders, and with a one-man show at Shibuya's Club Quattro coming up on November 16, Freesian is releasing their first EP, "Uta Soso," which is packed with 8 powerful songs. In the course of their activities since their formation to date, they have gradually gained recognition as a "band with passionate music" among those who have actually seen them perform live, but with this new EP, they have once again faced the question, "What kind of music is Freesian pursuing? We produced this album by facing the question, "What is the music that FREESIAN is pursuing? The "heat" of human life and love, and the dignified "coldness" of helplessness and impermanence coexist in harmony. The eight songs are a combination of the Japanese lyrics of these views of life and death, good melodies, and good sound, and represent the maximum musical expression that Freesian is capable of at present. We named the 8 songs "Uta Burying" to express our feelings, determination, and love for these 8 songs as "burying our songs once and moving on to the next".The chorus phrase, "Will you die next to me?" is at the heart of the love song "Please Darling." The up-tempo "Dusk and Orange" is an up-tempo song that asks people who are seeking peace to stay the same, and whether they are really okay with that. The up-tune "Dusk and Orange," which asks the question, "Are you sure that's enough? The lead track, "Seishun," is a killer tune that tells us that each moment we spend now is our own youth, and that we will continue to live our lives accepting everything, including memories that will never fade away and painful memories that we would like to forget if we could. The songs "Kaibutsu (Monster)" and "Aooku Dome Mado (Blue Dye)," which have already been performed live, depict the intensity of human emotions by contrasting "stillness" and "movement," and are songs of passion, albeit on different scales. It is an ambitious work that features a dignified atmosphere that opens up new opportunities for the band.It is a gem of a piece of music, which more strongly depicts the theme that the vocalist, Maeda Kazushi, has for his music, "To people who are not like me, but like me.
