Description:
Soprano singer Charlotte de Rothschild, whose voice is heard around the world, comes to Japan for a commemorative recording! Japanese songs sung in Japanese. The third volume of "Japan's Journey"! SONY DADC Pressing of the limited edition for Japan! Includes Japanese commentary and Japanese lyrics! Charlotte de Rothschild is a soprano singer whose voice resonates around the world and the eldest daughter of the historic Rothschild family in the U.K. A graduate of the Salzburg Conservatory, the Royal College of Music, and its graduate school, she has demonstrated her musical talent and repertoire of songs in 18 languages. She has sung songs in 18 languages and has performed all over the world. Charlotte de Rothschild has been called "singing the heart of Japan more than the Japanese," and her 1999 recording of "Nihon no Tabiji (NI6190)" was widely acclaimed as "the first recording of a foreign singer singing a Japanese song entirely in Japanese," and in 2016 she released "Hana wa Saku" and other Japanese songs newly arranged for orchestra. In 2016, "Japanese Songs with Orchestra (NI6330JP)" was newly arranged, and in 2017, "Hometown" (NI6357JP), the second volume of "Japanese Travels" was released. The third volume of the "Japanese Journey" series, newly presented to commemorate the 2022 visit to Japan, is titled "100 Years of Japanese Songs," and combines approximately 100 years of Japanese songs, from Okano Teiichi and Yamada Kosaku to Arai Mitsuru and Funabashi Tomiko, with children's songs that are deeply rooted in the Japanese people's hearts, to create a wonderful collection of Japanese songs. Japanese songs are a combination of Japanese songs and children's songs that have been deeply rooted in the hearts of the Japanese people for almost 100 years. Charlotte de Rothschild, who says that "Japanese songs are comparable to German lieder and French chansons," will once again convey the splendor of Japanese songs with her beautiful voice. The "NI6430JP" is a limited-edition Japanese pressing by SONY DADC. The "NI6430JP" is a CD-R disc. Please be forewarned in advance. Tokyo M-Plus
