Description:
Berlin, Spring 2020, "Home Music Berlin," a record of musicians under the coronary disaster, Berlin was struck by a new type of coronary infection in the spring of 2020. Filmmaker Jan Schmidt-Galle called on Berlin-based musicians who had lost the opportunity to perform to launch a project to bring their performances to a wide audience online. The "Home Music Berlin" concert series (March-May 2020), held at the Schinkel Pavilion, a private museum renowned for its contemporary art, featured performances by Christian Tetzlaff, Isabelle Faust, Tabea Zimmermann, Roman Treichel, and other prominent musicians. The film is a selection from this series. This film consists of recordings of 13 concerts from this series and a video documentary capturing the rehearsals and behind-the-scenes footage of the participating musicians. Naxos Japan
