The latest interview with Yukio Aizawa & Toshio Kihara is also included. (Original release: October 21, 1988 / HUMMING BIRD CO.,LTD. /28HB-7013/32HD-7013 )NOBODY was formed in 1981 by Yukio Aizawa (vo, g) and Toshio Kihara (vo, g) after working with the Eikichi Yazawa Band.He has provided songs and produced sound for numerous artists, including Koji Kikkawa's "Monica", "Sayonara wa Hachigatsu no Lullaby", "Nikumareru Sonna New Face", "BORDER LINE", Ann Lewis' "Roppongi Shinju", "I Love You", "Ah, Mujo", HOUND DOG's "Cheating, Palette Cat", Kyoko Koizumi's "Kaze no Magical", Yui Asaka's He has provided songs and produced sound for many artists such as "Cecile" and "C GIRL", and has had hit songs one after another! NOBODY, a rare songwriting unit/producer team that dominated the music scene in the 198Os as a hit maker, has released their 7th studio album. The album features the single "STRAIGHT TO YOUR HEART" (2023 Remix) and its coupling "BOYODY," which was also an insert song for the Fuji TV drama "Oikakeritai no! (2023 Remix), which was also an insert song for the Fuji TV drama "Oikake Shitai!", and "UP ON THE ROOF", which seems to have been inspired by the song of the same name written by C. King & J. Goffin.The album title is a reference to Nick Lowe And His Cowboy Outfit's hit song "Half a Boy & Half a Man," the introduction of the banjo, and the participation of Yuki Komazawa (pedal steel) of Honey Pie. While based on rock and roll, elements of American roots music are also present here and there. The album includes four bonus tracks recorded live at Nisshin Power Station in Shinjuku, Tokyo on October 31, 1990, the first time the album was released in physical format.
