The program includes "Farewell Innsbruck" by Isaacs, which is said to have been composed when Isaacs left the court of Innsbruck where he worked for many years; "Lament in Memory of Okeghem" by Josquin des Prez, a masterpiece by the greatest Renaissance musician; "Prelude, Fugue, Allegro in E flat major" by Bach; and "Fugue in E flat major" by Kazumasa Ishizuki, a leading guitarist in the Showa period. This is an album full of masterpieces and secret pieces, including "Sonata in D major in the style of Haydn," a rare original work for guitar composed in the early 1970s by Kazumasa Ishizuki, a leading guitarist of the Showa period.
