While showing a very high aptitude as an ancient instrumentalist,Simone Valle Rotonda, a lute player from Rome, has developed a unique musicality through his continuous contact with a wide range of genres, including rock music, which he has been familiar with for a long time. His new solo album is based on Rome, the "Eternal City," and features a well-balanced selection of works by composers from the 17th to 21st centuries who have passed through this ancient city.
