Shteinberg was taught by Rimsky-Korsakov, his son-in-law, and is also known as Shostakovich's teacher. Today he is more famous as a teacher than as a composer, and his Symphony No. 3. Composed between mid-1927 and the end of 1928, it was premiered in Leningrad in 1929 under the composer's own baton, and in the 1930s it was performed not only in the Soviet Union but also in the West. In the 1930s, the piece was performed not only in the Soviet Union but also in other Western countries. Although he was of the same generation as Stravinsky, his style is not out of the range of Romanticism, but his new work was eagerly awaited with great expectations at the time, and this work, which has been little known until now, is truly worth listening to. The whole work is very melodious, and the tube music is very well done. The entire work is very melodious, and the use of wind instruments is very skillful, making full use of the large three-wind orchestra with a rich sense of color.Performed by the Ural Youth Symphony Orchestra, a group of talented young players from the Ural region, and the talented Dmitry Filatov, second prize winner of the 2018 Evgeny Svetlanov International Conducting Competition. He reads the work deeply and enhances its splendor with his active musicianship.
