Description:
Many types of music, including opera and instrumental music, have changed with the times, from Baroque to Classical to Romantic to ......, as fashions shifted to suit people's tastes and tastes. However, church music is surprisingly old. Surprisingly, however, church music has retained its old traditions, and even in the 19th century, the musical traditions of the early Baroque period seem to be alive and well. The program will focus on the German-speaking world and will examine how the solid foundations of this tradition were laid and passed on, focusing on examples of music by various composers from around the 17th century. The program opens with Beethoven's "Equale" for trombone quartet, which is a melody that is highly compatible with the recitation of traditional prayer verses in church melody, and is vividly related to the music of the 17th century with arrangements by Seifried, who is also known as a testimony about the sages of music. The arrangement of the baroque music of the 17th century is also vividly shown in relation to the 17th century music. The baroque brass ensemble, which has been Inalto's forte, sounds with an ancient elegance, and the clear movement of each part in the ancient singing makes the poems sound more nuanced and persuasive, bringing out the best in all the recorded works, not only those by relatively well-known composers such as the three German Ss and Buxtehude. There is no end to the listening experience. In Bach's BWV 118, the ritus (high brass) part is played by the horn "Corno da tirarsi," which has a slide to enable chromatic progression (performed by Anneke Scott and others, who have many excellent recordings of both solo and ensemble performances). This is an excellent project unique to RICERCAR that allows the audience to deeply experience the foundation of the German-speaking tradition that has been handed down from Bach's time to Beethoven's time through actual examples.
