A diverse collection of works by Finger, who was active multinationally during the heyday of Baroque music] Born in Olomouc in Moravia (now the eastern part of the Czech Republic), Finger studied there and worked in London during the 17th century, then moved to Germany in the 18th century, serving as music director in Berlin and Innsbruck before his death in Mannheim. He died in Mannheim. He was in contact with Biber, Purcell, Telemann, Weiss, and other great composers of the time, and while based on Italian music, which was considered the most advanced at the time, he incorporated the musical characteristics of a wide range of regions, including England, Germany, and France, into his own style, leaving behind many colorful works that could be described as truly pan-European. Many of the 12 works in this collection are world premieres. Many of the 12 works included here are world premiere recordings. The Harmonious Society's Harmonious Society is a group of musicians who have been working together for more than 30 years, and who have been working together for more than 30 years. The Harmonious Society of Tickle-Fiddle Gentlemen is a period-instrument ensemble formed in London in 2006 with the aim of reevaluating works that were popular with the London public in the 17th and 18th centuries but have now been forgotten.It takes its long name from the English satirical poet Ned Ward (1667-1731), who described the first musician to give a concert for the public in London. He has released two collections of works by Johann Christoph Pepusch on the Ramee label (RAM1109 and RAM1502) and a collection of concertos by Joseph Antonin Gretzky on the Chandos label, and has received high praise for his watertight performances that attractively present masterpieces that have been hidden behind famous composers.
