The works selected here were all composed after 1950, including Hosokawa's "Lotus Flowers," which expresses the strong connection between Heine's poetry and nature; Takemitsu's "Wind Horse" and lovely "Song" inspired by a photograph taken in Tibet; Mamiya's "Composition for Chorus," based on a Japanese folk song's musical lyrics; Kondo's "Composition for Chorus The individuality of each composer is strongly expressed in each piece, such as Mamiya's "Composition for Chorus," based on a Japanese folk song, and Kondo's "Motet under the Roses," written for 12 voices.
