Kaytranada is a DJ/producer who has worked with such prominent artists as Mobb Deep, Talib Kweli, and The Internet. Born in the Republic of Haiti, he moved to Montreal, Canada as a child. 14 years old, he started his career as a DJ and started producing tracks the following year. 2010, he started working under the name Kaytradamus and has been highly acclaimed for his sense of style reminiscent of J Dilla and Madlib. 2012, he started working on a number of remixes as Kaytranada. Since 2012, he has released a number of remixes as Kaytranada, and has quickly risen from the underground to the center of the global beat scene. His first full-length album, "99.9%," was released in 2016. The album features a diverse collection of genre-defying talent, including Anderson Park, Sid (The Internet), Goldlink, Craig David, Aluna George, Bad Bad Not Good, Little Dragon, and many more.It freely traverses diverse styles such as hip-hop, R&B, house, jazz, and disco, with a soulful and sophisticated beat that runs throughout.
