My Dying Bride

Description:

My Dying Bride, a British band that created a new genre of gothic/doom metal with Paradise Lost and Anathema, has released their first new album in four years! The album features a lot of violins and synthesizers, and the gloomy view of the world is one and only! My Dying Bride is a British band that pioneered a new genre of gothic/doom metal with Paradise Lost and Anathema in the early 90's. Their formation dates back to 1990. At first, they advocated their own style of "slower-than-usual death metal. After making several demos, they signed a contract with Peaceville Records, to which Paradise Lost belonged at the time, and made their album debut in 1992 with "As the Flower Withers". The album is 44 minutes long with 6 songs. Although the vocals were death metal, the entire album was full of beautiful melodies and aesthetic content, just as the title "As the Flower Withers" suggests. It was also shocking that they featured their trademark violin. My Dying Bride, which later took on a more Gothic flavor, developed a large number of followers. After releasing a number of masterpieces on the Peaceville label, the band moved to the German giant Nuclear Blast Records in 2008 with The Ghost of Orion, and has now released their first new album in four years. Now, after a four-year hiatus, the band is releasing a new album. The album, titled "A Mortal Binding," is another burst of My Dying Bride's usual world. It is heavy, doomy, and melancholic. The songs are all over 6 minutes long. The effective use of violins and synthesizers only adds to the gloom. This is the ultimate in the dark side of British music. If you like dark music, this is a must-listen! Aaron Stainthorpe (vocals)Andrew Crahan (guitar)Lena Abbe (bass)Sean McGowan (keyboards/violin)Neil Blanchette (guitar)Dan Mullins (drums)
