Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, the band that guitarist Phil Campbell, who has supported Motorhead for over 30 years, formed with his sons, has released a live album! The album contains 15 songs, including covers of Motorhead and Hawkwind. This is the only CD release of the album in Japan. Phil Campbell, the guitarist who has supported Motorhead for more than 30 years, will be performing live with the band. With Lemmy's passing, Motorhead regrettably disbanded. In 2004, Phil Campbell and his three sons formed the Phil Campbell's All Star Band, which performed many of Motorhead's best-known songs at the Vakken Open Air. In 2004, they performed at the Vakken Open Air, performing many of Motorhead's greatest hits. After releasing the band's eponymous EP in 2004, they were signed to major German label Nuclear Blast. 18 years later, they made their album debut with "The Age of Absurdity.The second album "We Are the Bastards," released in 2008, was a diverse album with not only Motorhead-like songs, but also bluesy and stoner-like tunes. Now, Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons are releasing a live album. The album, titled "Live in the North," was recorded live in England in 2009. In addition to the Phil family, the album features new vocalist Joe Peters. The album features 15 songs in total, including not only Phil Campbell and the Busters' songs, but also Motorhead classics such as "Ace of Spades" and "Killed by Death," as well as Hawkwind's "Silver Machine. Released only digitally in North America and Europe, this is the only CD release in Japan!
