Mikiko Hirose (piano) has released her latest recording of Rimsky=Korsakov's piano works in August 2022, the third release on the Quadriga label following "Sinding Piano Works" (2015) and "Gounod Piano Works" (2017). The collection includes the composer's early outstanding works as well as major works from his mature period, from original piano works to piano arrangements of orchestral works. <Mikiko Hirose (piano) graduated from the Department of Piano at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. Completed graduate studies in piano at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. She studied under Akemi Murakami, Haruko Kasama, Yasuko Tani, Akiko Iguchi, M. Muntz, J. Dranois, and M. Fabus, and since her debut recital in 1981, she has given numerous concerts. He is also a member of the Vivaldi Ensemble as a harpsichordist. She performed with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, and also appeared as chamber musician and accompanist in many concerts and music festivals throughout Japan. From 1990 to 1991, he traveled to France to work as an accompanist for the Conservatoire de Nantes and the Choir de Nantes. During this period, she performed in concerts in Nantes, Belle Étou and Le Mans. In 1998, he founded the Hachioji Conservatory of Music. He also regularly gives solo recitals.She is a jury member of various competitions including the Chopin Competition in Asia and the PTNA Competition. Regular member of the All Japan Piano Teachers Association. Member of Japan Piano Teachers Association. Director of the Japan Music and Dance Council. Currently, Representative of PTNA Hachioji Chuo Station, Branch Director of PTNA Hachioji Branch, and Director of Hachioji Music Academy.' Released his third CD "Sand Instrument II" in 2005.'' Released her 4th CD "Piazzo Collection Played on Solo Piano" in 2008, "Villa-Lobos Works I" in '09, "Mikiko Hirose Piano Recital Live Edition" in '10, "Piazzolla Collection Played on Solo Piano II" in '12, "Sinding Piano Works vol.1" in '15, "Gounod Piano Works vol. 1" CD and published the score of "Gounod's Opera Faust, Act 5, Piano Solo Version" in 2005.
