The leading ROCK HEROes of Japan and the U.S. have gathered again! TMG's 2nd album "TMG II" is finally completed with melodious and heavy sound and unchanged spirit! In March of this year, TMG (Tak Matsumoto Group) announced the re-launch of the group with the original members after 20 years. The news of the restart of TMG's activities after a 20-year absence came as a huge shock to the Japanese music scene, as there have been endless calls for a restart and a new release. In April, the details of the nationwide tour "TMG LIVE 2024 -Still Dodging The Bullet-" were announced, and the new album "TMG LIVE 2024 -Still Dodging The Bullet-" was finally released. Finally, the new album "TMG II" was released! The new album, the first in 20 years, features not only Matsumoto's solid and delicate guitar playing, but also Eric Martin's vocals that emotionally sing melodious melodies, and Jack Blades' aggressive and enlivening vocals that make the songs come alive. Jack Blades' bass and vocals are still strong.The 20 years that each member has been at the forefront of the band's activities is not a blank period for the band, but a period of preparation for the one and only TMG rock sound to gain even more power. The recording team for this album includes Matt Sorum on drums, who has played in Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver, and Yukihide "YT" Takiyama, who is well-known for his recording and live support work with B'z, on guitar and arrangements, In addition to the band members already announced for the tour, Daniel Ho, who released the album "Electric Island, Acoustic Sea" with Matsumoto in 2017, and also showcases his brilliant sound on Matsumoto's solo album "Bluesman", will join the band. Jeff Babko and others participate in the project.The album includes "CRASH DOWN LOVE" with its catchy melody that symbolizes the new TMG sound, "GUITAR HERO" for which Jack wrote the lyrics with Tak in mind, and "ETERNAL FLAMES" featuring guest appearances by BABYMETAL, a metal dance unit that is expanding its activities worldwide. The album will feature 10 songs, including "ETERNAL FLAMES," a song featuring guest appearances by BABYMETAL, a metal dance unit that is expanding its international activities, and a song in which Matsumoto is proud to say, "I was able to create a satisfying album with my wonderful band members. The limited-edition vinyl will include a metal photo frame with artist photos and autographs of the band members printed on a copper plate, a special item reminiscent of TMG's massive sound.
