After graduating from Kyoto Horikawa Music High School, Tokyo University of the Arts, and Tokyo University of the Arts, Akimoto received his master's degree from the same university, and later completed the doctoral program at the same university. She has received many awards including the Mitsubishi Estate Award and Acanthus Award from the same university. In 2020, she will make her UK debut in a recital at the Wigmore Hall, one of the world's most prestigious music halls. She has won the 17th Conserre Marronnier 21, the Richard Lewis Award, and all the British Music Competitions. Finalist in the Wagner Society International Competition. Performed at the Leeds International Song Festival, NHK-FM Recital Nova, Geidai Messiah, Tokyu Silvester Concert, Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa Countdown Concert, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra "Ninth", etc.In opera, he has appeared in the Tokyo Spring Music Festival Wagner Series "Gold of the Rhine", "Die Walkure", "Götterdämmerung", NISSAY OPERA "Rusalka", Seiji Ozawa Music School Opera for Children "Die Fledermaus", Seiji Ozawa Matsumoto Festival Opera for Children "The Marriage of Figaro", Kanazawa Opera " She has appeared in "Taki no Shiraito" and performed with many orchestras and conductors including NHK Symphony Orchestra, Yomiuri Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa, etc. She is also a member of the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra.
