Mansaku Kimura has not only been the drummer for PRISM, but has also supported the band on numerous recordings and tours. In recent years, he has mainly supported Kazumasa Oda, but now he has started a new unit called "yo-in". Akemi Ota (Flute) and Tamami Ikide (Piano) lay down fresh and extended melodies over the steady rhythm with Toshiro Matsuda (Bass). Encounter" invites the listener into a new world, evoking the thrill of an encounter that we have all experienced before. Beginnings" is a song that is full of positivity that starts something in motion, but also has a nostalgic chorus phrase that lingers in the listener's ears. How is "Berimbau," a cover of Brazilian artist Baden Powell, evolving in Yo-in's hands? The melody and the playing are pleasant to the ear and comfortable to the space, yet they are not just music as a background, but moving melodies.
