Our Seishiro Still Lives: A Journey to the Origins of RC Succession, the Legendary Timers, Solo Activities, and MoreThis book summarizes the entire career of the inimitable rock vocalist, Kiyoshiro Imawano, and thoroughly dissects his rich and fertile musical output. The program will also explore the portrait of the legend through his cover songs and influences, and the rock and R&B/soul masterpieces that have become his own flesh and blood. The first half of the album, entitled HARD FOLK/ROCK, focuses on the original songs sung in The Timers' "COVERS," which was recently reissued in a "35th Anniversary Edition" analog and CD format. The second half, called SWEET SOUL MUSIC, is a collection of sweet soul music that Seishiro loved. Starting with M-1 by The Monkees, which should be called a rebirth, there is a wide variety of songs originating from the Timers, including M-5 and M-7, which caused a stir with their covers when they were released, and M-10, from which RC quoted the riff, and M-13, whose metaphor makes you want to consider it with the famous song "Ameagari no Yozora ni" as well. The songs are rich in variety.The second half of the show also included M-16, which evoked the same atmosphere as the famous "Slow Ballad," another song that represented his early years, and a careful attention to his live performances and solo activities. The last encore was the return of Otis Redding, the originator of his famous stage line, "Do you love each other? The show closes with the most beautiful and poignant number ever.
