The time is the Sengoku period. Rantaro was born into a noble family of Hira Ninja, and he and his friends Kirimaru, who lost his parents in a war but is still going strong, and Shinbeye, the son of a wealthy merchant in Sakai, are studying to become great ninja at the Ninjutsu Academy as "Ninja Tamago," or "Ninja Eggs" in order to become great ninja. However, Rantaro and the other three failed all their classes and exams. They are joined by unique teachers, Kunoichi girls, and unique upperclassmen at the Ninjutsu Academy, and their daily life is always full of slapstick. Rantaro and his friends' everyday life is "cheerful, fun and cheerful"! The first series of "Nintama Rantaro" began airing in April 1993 and has remained a favorite ever since. This DVD contains all the episodes of the 24th series broadcast in fiscal year 2016.
