Rather than seeking out something on her own, something was already prepared in front of her. I was even told about my CD debut by a major record company before, and even had the rails pulled for me as a performer at some point. Hitomi Niikura says that she was able to face many conflicts, escape from them, and regain her true self in Switzerland, where she studied abroad, which is not an exaggeration to say that she escaped from everything halfway. And now, with her first concerto album, she is ready to disclose her new "self" and ask the question with a full heart. Elgar: Cello Concerto," a milestone in cello concertos, "Kol Nidrei," which expresses Niikura's emotions, and "Bird Song," which is synonymous with cello masterpieces.... This album is a crystallization of lamentations released by the newly born Hitomi Niikura, backed by a full orchestra.
