Rupert Boyd, a guitarist from Australia, and Laura Metcalf, a cellist from the United States. The ensemble "boyd meets girl" is made up of these two musicians. Their repertoire ranges from baroque to contemporary music, and they sometimes arrange their own works to create original performances. On this album, too, they have prepared a wide variety of pieces, from Bach to Piazzolla to Zenamon. You can enjoy eye-opening and wonderful performances of the colorful Bolivian composer Zenamon's "Reflection," a novel arrangement of Fauré's "Pavane," the delightful Bach "Invention," and Pärt's "Mirror in the Mirror," one of the most popular healing works of all time.
