The Flower Kings, led by Leune Stolt, an important figure in the Scandinavian progressive rock scene, is releasing their 16th studio album just one year and six months after their last album. Original members Leune and Hasse Freberg, and founding member Michael Stolt, who returned after more than 20 years with the last album. The band is now a four-piece with Zack Kamins (kbd), who lives in the U.S., out of Zack and Mirko, who participated in the "Flower Kings Revisited" tour in 2018. This album was recorded with vintage instruments and equipment that Reune Stolt has been pursuing, and it has a warm and charming sound reminiscent of the great progressive rock albums of the 1970s, and the metallic and hard sound of the digital era has been overshadowed by the analog feeling of a bygone golden age of rock. This is a work that takes you back to the golden age of analog-feeling rock. A must-listen album for old and new prog rockers alike.The three most recent works have all been released on 2-CD sets, each exceeding 90 minutes in length, but for the first time in a long time, the 67-minute volume on a single CD is a powerful work filled with condensed music.
