The unprecedented masterpiece "Cry as Much as You Want to Cry - Japanese Songs" by the "12 Cellists of the Berlin Philharmonic," originally released in 1994 on the Fahnhaus label, has been revived with the latest remastering. Following the success of the previous album "The Beatles of Sadness" (released simultaneously with this album), Shigeaki Saegusa collaborated with the "12 Cellists of the Berlin Philharmonic," the world's most powerful and versatile cello ensemble, for the second album, featuring Japanese folk songs and shoka such as "Aragusuku no Tsuki," "Akai Shoes," and "Oborogetsuya. Arrangements. Arranged for the Emperor Showa's visit to Germany, "The Moon Over the Deserted Castle" was the inspiration for this album. The arrangements by Shigeaki Saegusa and the performances by the "Twelve" beautifully and poignantly convey the sad sentiments contained in each song, all of which are literally "the hometown of the Japanese," and the music clearly evokes a variety of nostalgic feelings in the listener.
