Description:

Includes download codes for two previously unreleased CD tracks, "hex" and "zu", for in-store sales only! If you think that Rupurizu is simply dance music replaced by a band, you are mistaken. I believe that the essence of the band lies in the tropical elements that are glimpsed in the repetitive nature of this album. This tropical element makes us forget about musical genres and transports us to a fairyland far away from the mundane world. (Akira Kawasaki/mouse on the keys) Started in 2012 by Akio Nakagawa (Gt/Synth/Loop) and Bancho (Ba). They have released their first album "Rezension of Renaissance" from SAY HELLO TO NEVER RECORDINGS, a mini-album "EXIT", and a quadruple single "BPMA". In addition to the original members, Junpei Yamamoto (Dr/LOOLOWNINGEN,etc.) has officially joined the band, and Mikio Matsuzaki (BA/STIM, Dagaryu and Kaiser Sode, etc.) has been participating as a live supporter for some time. This album is the most ambitious work since the formation of the band. This album is the most ambitious work since the formation of the group. It is a blend of the minimalism of Reich, the exuberance of techno/dance of Jeff Mills and others, and the ambient ideas of Eno. Rupurizu's new album is an ambition since its inception: minimalism (Reich), the techno/dance exuberance of Jeff Mills and others, and the ambient thought of Eno, and it is an attempt to squarely address the thousand thousand contemporary scapes colored by these children, while reconciling the band manner and physicality of post rock (as in Tortoise) with the more cosmic traversesense of the Floating Pointers. With this album, Rupurizu further purifies the ensemble established in the previous album, and takes a unique leap forward with the participation of a single person in the concept-making process. This "double disc" album concept will include self-liner notes titled "Official Boot". The album was engineered and mixed by Keiichi Kobayashi (Strawberry House), who has worked with The Collectors and others, and mastered by Conor Dalton (Calyx Mastering), who has worked with Takkyu Ishino and others in Germany. The release tour will be followed by a one-man show at Shimokitazawa SPREAD, the final show of the year.
