Description:
Commemorating the 100th anniversary of Sukrovaczewski's birth, this set includes 5 CDs of 4 titles released in 2002! Live recordings of Tchaikovsky, Bruckner, Schumann, etc. from the 90s. The set includes the live recordings from 1996 and 1999, when the orchestra visited Japan. The Chai 5, Bull 7, and Schumann recordings were originally requested by many people, and after the death of Vandt, it seems that only Sukurova could produce such detailed and tense music, and these performances were the talk of the town immediately after their release. The sound quality is also excellent, and depending on your seat at NHK Hall, you may be more impressed with these CDs. Also, there is no overlap with King's NHK Symphony Orchestra 75th Anniversary CD. The last CD, "Fate," is said to be a masterpiece, and it is certainly a performance that can be called authentic even after listening to it again now. Since their first release in 2002, there has been no reissue of these recordings, including SACD versions.
