Her first new album in six years begins with an orchestral style reminiscent of 60s pop hits, unlike her conventional acoustic sound, which is a panoramic sound reminiscent of the California ocean influenced by "Pet Sounds". Produced in a studio in Brooklyn, the new album features a conventional acoustic guitar sound, as well as grand orchestral arrangements and percussion rolls that are reminiscent of the Walker Brothers, making the songs stand out. The new style of vocal performance can also be heard on this album. Influenced by predecessors such as Scott Walker and Judy Garland, but radiating her own unique personality, she expresses hope, mystery, fear, and romance in silence throughout the album. It is an important work that demonstrates her musical evolution and growth, and offers listeners a deeply moving and empathetic experience.
