The Charlatans have completed their long-awaited 14th studio album after 37 years and 8 years and 5 months since their formation! Recorded at the legendary Rockfield Studios, the home of "Telling Stories", which reached #1 on the UK album charts! The first single, the album's title track, "feels like the end roll of your favorite movie where you're in a convertible driving along the coast to a wonderful place" by Tim, was highly praised by fans as "youthful" and "fresh"! This is their 14th studio album, their first in about 8 years and 5 months. Kevin Godley (10CC) joins the band! Tim says he couldn't ask for a better collaborator. This is the first album recorded at Rockfield Studios (legendary recording studio used by Black Sabbath, Queen, OASIS, etc.) since their 5th album, "Telling Stories" (1997), which reached #1 in the UK album charts. (1) Hauntology: A term coined by French philosopher Jacques Derrida to refer to the broader idea of the return or persistence of past social or cultural elements in a ghostly manner, first introduced by him in his 1993 book "The Ghost of Marx.
