New Zealand's 7-piece crossover reggae band "Fat Freddie's Drop" has released their sixth studio album "Slow Mo"! The band spent from sunrise to sunset at BAYS Studios in Wellington to create what member DJ Fitchie describes as "an exploration of Afro rhythmic soul music and Polynesian black music", creating a Freddys sound that no one can define. He says he has created a Freddie's sound that no one can define! Saxophonist Chopper Rees states, "We usually bring the stage to the studio, but this time we are excited to bring what we created in the studio to the stage," allowing the audience to experience this long-form album as the curated body of work that Freddie's intended it to be! The album will be available for purchase at the end of the month.As the second half of the record progresses, Joe Dukie's vocals become quite spectacular, drawing the listener into the music, and are sure to get the floor going!
