Travis made his debut in 1997, just as the Britpop movement was beginning to slow down, and with his introspective lyrics and melancholy, beautiful melodies, he became an important act that would go on to create a new wave of music in the British rock scene.Travis has become one of the UK's leading rock bands alongside Radiohead, Coldplay and Oasis, and has released eight albums to date, selling millions of copies (their second album, "The Man Who", released in 1999, sold around 3 million copies in the UK alone). ), and the band's 2018 documentary film "ALMOST FASHIONABLE: A FILM ABOUT TRAVIS" won the Audience Award at the International Film Festival in Edinburgh. Fran Healy, the band's core member, has been acclaimed as being in the same league as Paul McCartney, Elton John, and Graham Nash, all of whom have created beautiful, timeless melody lines. They have now completed their latest album, "10 SONGS," their first in four years, following their last album, "EVERYTHING AT ONCE," in 2016.Co-produced by Fran and Robin Bainton (Coldplay, etc.), the album was recorded at RAK Studios in 2019-2020. This is a very beautiful album that expresses these thoughts through melodies and sounds.
