The monumental performance of the reconciliation between Fournier and Karajan in Salzburg after their breakup at the Vienna Philharmonic's June subscription in 1964! Pine needles flying all over the place! The highlight of the Vienna Philharmonic's June subscription in 1964 was a joint performance of Don Quixote by Karajan and Fournier, but just before the concert, Fournier cancelled the performance due to differences of opinion between the two musicians. However, the two musicians made a dramatic reconciliation at the Salzburg Festival, and the great masterpiece heard here was born. The two musicians' spirits are tremendous. Karajan's Tsara is also on a grand scale. The sound quality is very good even though it is in mono. King International
