The fourth program is the live performance of Symphony No. 7, which is also notable for being Norrington's first program, following the previous program of Symphony No. 6. The Adagio is the highlight of the entire work, and the extended melodic lines of No. 7 are very appealing. As was the case with No. 4 and No. 6, the unparalleled beauty of the soft, warm, and pure tone is expected to be accepted naturally. In contrast to the Celibidacke and Wandt recordings, which are all over an hour long, the fast tempo of 55 minutes can be said to be a distinctive feature of this performance.
