Johannes Plamzoller's new recording! Johannes Plamzoller, the leading baroque violinist of the new generation who studied with Pogger! Three Violin Sonatas" from various periods and styles! Japanese commentary included! Johannes Plamzoller is a baroque violinist of the "21st century generation" from South Tyrol to the world, and is the leader of Ensemble Diderot and International Baroque Players. He launched his own label, Audax, in 2013. The Ensemble Diderot (named after Denis Diderot, an 18th century French Enlightenment thinker and philosopher), which Plumzoller founded in 2008, has been discovering the baroque trio sonata repertoire of the 17th and 18th centuries. This time, the ensemble further expands from the "Trio Sonata" with two melody instruments and a bass, and explores the "Sonata for Three Violins" in which "three violins" play the melody as if they were competing with each other.The works span a period of about 100 years, with the oldest dating from around 1600, and range from patchwork sonatas with instrumental canzone origins (Gabrieli, Fontana, Buonamente), dance suites with sonata introductions (Hakar), monumental pavanes alone (Purcell, Balzer), works with insistent ( Ostinato) with bass (Pachelbel, Purcell), variations on chorale melodies (Sommer), and works similar to the church sonatas of the Baroque period (Schmelzer, Torelli, Dornell).
