Chopin's Polonaises by Amoyale, a pure confrontation with Chopin's music A collection of Chopin's Polonaises by Pascal Amoyale, a French pianist born in 1971. Amoyal studied with Cihra and Bellman. Amoyale says that he learned the essence of music from Cihra and the tone from Berman. Amoyale's music is played with the same high level of technique and delicate lyrical sensibility that Sifra taught him. Amoyale, who has been attracted to Chopin's sensibility since he was a child, chose the Grande Polonaise and the Fantasy Polonaise for this concert, excluding the early works. The Grande Polonaise was written after Chopin moved to Paris, and Amoyale sees it as a musical protest against Chopin's freedom that forced him to leave his homeland, expressing Chopin's hopelessness.On the occasion of this recording, Amoyal said; "The Polonaise, which is both florid and lyrical, dance and narrative, will always radiate its musical exoticism. ....
