French Overture" for keyboard and orchestra! Alessandrini's respect and creativity for Bach Alessandrini's latest project is an orchestral arrangement of a keyboard work that he has been working on for some time now. This time, Alessandrini will perform three pieces: an arrangement of the "French Overture" BWV831 in D minor for orchestra, and two suites of selected movements from Bach's keyboard works (one arrangement for traverso and strings, the other for strings only). The first is an arrangement for traverso and strings, the second is an arrangement for strings only. This is the latest in a series of projects that Alessandrini has undertaken to arrange keyboard works for orchestra! The Gavotte from the famous French Suite No. 5 does not lose any of the lovely and light atmosphere of the original keyboard solo, and it is almost impossible to tell which is the original. The overture in the French style is a work that is also very pleasing to listen to as a solo keyboard piece, but this orchestral arrangement by Alessandrini has more three-dimensionality, and the bouncy dotted rhythms that can only be expressed by the strings are more prominent.The sharpness of Alessandrini's tongue and the singing and mellow rhythms of the members of Concerto Italiano are the best way to reproduce the acoustics that echoed in Bach's brain.
