The set includes a collection of operatic arias, complete recordings of three operas ("Oberon," "The King's Children," and "Fidelio") with such renowned conductors as Claudio Abbado, Antonio Pappano, Marco Armiliato, and Donald Runnicles, as well as Schubert's song cycle "Beautiful The Watermill Girl" and Verdi's "Requiem" are included. Humperdinck's "The King's Children," based on a fairy tale, is a rare recording of this work and is performed with Swiss conductor Armin Jordan.There is also a disc (in English and German) with audio of Kaufmann talking about Wagner, his music, and the roles he sings in his Wagner recital album.
