[Incomparable beauty. The sky is transparent in lapis lazuli, and a rainbow bridge stretches far and wide. It takes you on an eternal journey around the world. Edouard Ferret is a pianist who continues to create musical values with his beautiful melody lines and spontaneous arrangements. A member of the Jean-Philippe Viret Trio, his 2008 work "Le Temps quille fot" is acclaimed as a masterpiece. Ferre has composed most of the music for this work, proving that he is a first-rate composer as well. It is no exaggeration to say that his fresh and contemporary interpretations are leading the European jazz scene. Veteran wind instrumentalist Simon Spann Hansen's fast and furious blowing, cellist Alain Grange, and percussionist Xavier Disandre Navarre further enhance the color of Ferre's music. All of the pieces are of high quality, and it is hard to say which is the best, but I would have to say that the last piece, "Petite Fille," is the best. The lovely main melody is repeated several times in different forms, which is a nice touch. 2 minutes and 57 seconds into the song, Ferre proves that he is the best of his time.But the track has a curious trick up its sleeve at the very end: seven seconds from the 8:22 mark, after the father puts his daughter to bed and leaves the bed, a dream world is created. How would you feel? A friend told me that the last song is "Little Daughter. When I listened to it again with that in mind, I was convinced. (Text by Masato Maedomari - from the liner notes)
